Ingredients:
1 ½ cups SpicenEasy Whole Cashews
2 cups hot water (for soaking)
3/4 cup water (for blending)
3 cloves garlic
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp sea salt, plus more to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
Optional: 2 tbsp olive oil for extra richness
Instructions:
Soak the Cashews: Place the SpicenEasy Whole Cashews in a bowl and cover with the 2 cups of hot water. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes to soften (or for 2 hours in cold water). For a quick method, cover with boiling water and soak for 15 minutes.
Drain and Blend: Drain the soaked cashews and add them to a high-speed blender. Add the 3/4 cup fresh water, garlic, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, onion powder, and salt.
