Antique Engraving "The Defeat of The Spanish Armada" 1804
This remarkable old print engraving piece is 10" x 8" and in very good condition. I'd say it was re-framed perhaps 60-70 years back as the frame seems to be wood with a plastic type finish. The backing on the backboard looks really old and probably is still the original. The caption is .....The Defeat of The Spanish Armada. Under this is......Published as the Act directs June 9th 1804 by J. Stratford No 112, Holborn Hill, London. At the bottom corners of the engraving is printed.... Donaldson delin. and Tomlinson sculp.
