Black Velvet Australian Aboriginal Painting - Circa 1960 Signed 'Martinus'

Black velvet paintings like this were produced in Australia during the 1950's - 1960's often done by various indigenous artists under the one name such as "Martinus"....they were popular as tourist pieces both for local and overseas visitors to tourist areas and markets. In excellent condition this one measures 12" x 9 1/4".
