Benin Bronze Horse Riders

A rather cool blackened Bronze horse and riders from the Benin tribe in Nigeria.......famous for their bronze sculpting. The horse is 8 1/2" in length and height is around 5 1/2". The rider has a sword whilst the passenger is holding what appears to be a large leg of meat. Possible date of this piece is circa 1950's-60's.
