Signed Charcoal Print of San Francisco 1979
The drawing is 10 x 9 inches in a 14 1/2 x 11 1/4 frame and is signed as C.F Stanbrough 1979.The detail work is excellent...even down to the nude Flower Power lass with a tattoo of "Dad" with an Anchor on her arm....and the contrasting grim starkness of Alcatraz looming in the background. To me this is a wonderful depiction of the Bay City that has strong feeling to it and demonstrates real skill by the artist. We are also offering another drawing by the same artist...this one is of the Golden Gate Bridge..see URL ..SUN230. I think these are Limited Edition Prints from the original drawing and signed by the artist. So if ever... you left your heart in San Fran... here's a chance to buy back a little nostalgia !
