Vintage R.M.M.S. Aorangi Souvenir Shipping Ashtray
This is enamel on tin....some small enamel loss but a very nice collectible for this old Liner.The R.M.M.S AORANGI was launched in June 1924 for the UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY. In 1931 she was transferred to the Canadian-Australian Line. This ashtray relates to the CANADIAN-AUSTRALIAN LINE as can be seen by the company flags on the ashtray. The Aorangi was scrapped in 1953. Measures 3 1/4" in diameter.
