Viking Valiant, Townsend Thoresen Shipping Line Souvenir
This is a rather neat shipping collectible in the form of a Viking Ship. The ship is 12" in length and made of aluminium. The Viking Valiant was launched in 1975 and was on the Scandanavian routes before being transferred to the France-UK run. She was re-fitted / rebuilt in 1985 and was said to one of the ugliest vessels around following this. In 2002 she was sold and is now owned by EL SALAM MARITIME.
