Blackburn Buccaneer S.Mk 2B, RAF No. 237 OCU. XW533 was delivered to the RAF in 1971 then, after a 20 year career, prepared for Operation "Granby" in the Persian Gulf. This included a Desert 'ARTF' (Alkali Removable Temporary Finish) livery change and assignment of code 'A'. The "Miss Jolly Roger" Nose Art was added during the campaign. This low-level subsonic attack aircraft built for carrier-based operations, was rushed into the Gulf War to improve precision bombing through its laser target marking capability. Gulf War 25th Anniversary diecast metal model. Limited to 1000 pieces world wide. Approx. 26.5cm x 18.5cm (10.5" x 7.25").
