Anglo French Sweet Cigarette Album - Circa 1954
Candy Cigarettes were BIG back in the 1950's when a large percentage of the population smoked cigarettes and Barratts Sweets of London marketed these packets of "SWEET CIGARETTES" aimed at the Child market. As with the Real Cigarette marketers Barratts issued a collectible card with each packet of Sweet Cigarettes purchased. This Album was produced for the ANGLO FRENCH SWEET WORKS of Johannesburg, South Africa......an Associate Company of Barratts. This Album of MOVIE STARS contains 80 such cards featuring well known Stars like Charlton Heston, Lucille Ball, Dean Martin, Doris Day, and many others. Good condition for age....measures 11" x 8".
