1878 First Edition" One Hundred Great Memorable Events of Perpetual Interest
Printed by CA Nichols of Springfield MA in 1878 this large book has 1007 pages and covers the period in American History from 1770 to 1876 .... "Our 1st Century". The book measures 11 1/4" x 7 1/2" and the author is R.M. DEVENS. There are some water stains on pages 151 onwards but this is only to the very top of the pages and does not adversely affect the many wonderful engravings throughout the book. There is a rip and a stain on the title page but apart from this the pages are very clean and fresh with no age spotting or serious tears present.
