The Passo dello Stelvio (Stelvio Pass) is the most famed climb in Italian cycling, climbing to 2,757m with 48 hairpins from the Eastern side. The Stelvio is the highest paved pass in Italy, first included in the 1953 Giro d'Italia where Fausto Coppi won in a battle with Hugo Koblet. As the highest peak, it has been named the Cima Coppi in each Giro where it has been included, 12 times in total. A monument to Coppi now greets riders as they crest the top.
Just as Soigneur commemorates the great riders of cycling history, we also like to pay homage to these other giants of the sport. Our Stelvio jerseys let you show the love of epic climbs at all true cyclist hold – and what better jersey to wear on the annual Stelvio bike day?
