Baines Merino Cycling Jersey

W.R. Baines was a Yorkshire company operating from the 1930s until the 1950s. After WW2 the main model produced was the time-trial frame named 'The Whirlwind' but perhaps best known as the 'Flying Gate' due to its unusual design.

The Flying Gate model is now produced by Chris Yeomans of Smithy Frameworks in Wales.
