Ford Mustang GT #71. In 1984 Dick Johnson and his backer Ross Palmer (Palmer Tube Mills) imported a pair of Zakspeed-built Mustangs from Germany to compete in Australia's first season under Group A regulations. The Mustang was officially withdrawn from the race the day before the race started. This is the car that became Johnson's Green #17 in the 1985 ATCC.
