The Volkswagen Type 2 (T1) panel van, commonly known as a "Splittie" due to its split windscreen", was widely used by European police forces from 1950. Proving itself to be a reliable multi-purpose vehicle, these vans remained in police service for decades. Its versatility and robust design saw it serve in various law enforcement roles such as paddy wagon, surveillance vehicle, and prisoner transporter. Diecast metal with some plastic parts. Sealed front and side doors, detailed interior, and opening tailgate. Approx. 17cm x 7cm ( 7" x 2.75").
