The race, held on September 30 at the famous Mount Panorama Circuit in New South Wales, saw Brock claim his eighth Bathurst victory, further cementing his status as the “King of the Mountain.”
The 1984 race was also celebrated as ‘The Last of the Big Bangers’ at Bathurst due to the end of Group C era.
