Holden HT Monaro GTS 350. Harry Firth, the manager of the newly formed Holden Dealer Team, gave Peter Brock his first Bathurst start as co-driver to Des West in car #43D in the 1969 Great Race. The quicker XW Falcon's were favoured but tyre issues ruined their day. HDT won the race through Colin Bond and Tony Roberts, with West and Brock coming in third.
