HN6 Number '6' New Zealand Saddleback

Red number '6' under the feet of the endangered Saddleback in a Flax plant. According to the Department of Conservation (DOC) in New Zealand "the saddleback or tīeke belongs to New Zealand's unique wattlebird family, an ancient group which includes the endangered kōkako and the extinct huia." It was rescued from the brink of extinction by DOC in the 1960's. Our ceramic house number tiles were designed here in New Zealand by Monique Endt, an accomplished artist from Auckland.
