Victorian Hand Crocheted Purse

What a lovely old piece of home made memorabilia this is. Obviously the plastic hinged frame part with its Holly decoration has come from an older existing purse or has been bought from a store late 1800's but someone spent many hours doing all the fine crochet work...probably by the light of an old Oil Lamp! The purse measures 12 1/4" in length with a maximum width of 7". needs a little repair work to some crochet bits but in general is wonderfully good for age. Great collectable!
