Victorian Stilton Cheese Scoop Silver Plate & Bone Handle With Signed Japanese Decoration
A very nice late Victorian Stilton Cheese Scoop 9 1/4" in length with Silver Plated shaft & scoop plus a beautifully decorated Bone Handle. The design is the much loved Bamboo Plant beautifully etched into the bone and signed in Japanese characters. The silver plate is thick high quality and is in great condition bar a small wear area on back arch of the shaft and a chip at scoop mouth. Sourced in England on our recent buying trip. A WONDERFUL COLLECTIBLE for those interested either in Stilton Scoops or Japanese Art & Objects.
