King Edward V111 Commemorative Tin 1937
A very nice old toffees tin by Wilkins Cremona..... The condition is very good for age..just a few minor rust spots. Measures 8 1/2" x 5" and is 3 1/4" in height. Edward V111 ascended the throne on January 23rd 1936 but due to the government and public concern over his plans to marry the American divorcee, Wallace Simpson, he abdicated before actually being crowned as King.
