Renault 5 Maxi #1, winner of the 1986 Rallye Du Var, Sainte-Maxime. Driver Francois Chatriot, co-driver Michel Perin. In 1986 Francois Chatriot won the Var Rally for the second time in a row . It was the final round of the French Rally Championship, and put Chatriot on equal in points with Didier Auriol. On count-back Auriol claimed the championship because he had one more victory. Opening doors and engine bay. Highly detailed interior and exterior. Brilliant model, and a ridiculously low price. Approx. 21cm x 9.5cm x 7cm (8.25" x 3.75" x 2.75")
