Made here in New Zealand from a section of a recycled Bombay Sapphire gin bottle. The Hooks are handcrafted from recycled sterling silver.
Earring length: 40mm
The native Huia bird became extinct in the early 1900's. It was considered Tapu to Maori, and only people of high status wore the distinctive tail feathers.
